Recently we've made a number of improvements to the chassis kits, so don't worry if the contents of the kit don't agree with the assembly instructions. Changes include:

    * The power switch and panel lamp are now shipping as soldered and crimped assemblies. No crimping required!

    * The separate ground lead and crimp lug have been deleted. The safety ground connection is now made through the PS03. All you have to do is make sure the PS03 mounting screws are snug and verify continuity from the chassis to the ground pin on the PS03's line cord connector.

    * The chassis divider and mu metal shield have been changed substantially. Note that the small holes in the divider can be used to secure the ferrite core on the WH01.

    * The kit includes 2" of flexible grommet to be used on the divider cutout to protect the WH01.

We'll update the CH01 assembly instructions as time permits.

Hello- I received that flexible grommet in my kit and was wondering what that was all about. So basically I'm supposed to fit that over the mu metal divider to prevent that from slicing the harness wires?

Thanks.

No slicing will occur unless you pinch the harness between the divider and top cover and tighten the screws. The grommet just dresses up the cutout and provides a bit of long-term insurance.
