Hey guys... i recently purchased IK Multimedia ARC software to analyse my room with the microphone they provided. I am wondering which SCA pre (cleanest) I should be plugging the calibration mic into that would give me least colourisation as possible.
I own the J99, A12 and N72 but also have a presonus firepod. Wanting which of these would have the cleanest signal.

J99 definitely.
Even though neither N72 or A12 have bumps or nulls so steep to render any measurement done with them void..

| Actually, any of them would work fine, even the preamps in the firepod. The J99 has a much higher -3dB point, but within the frequencies of interest the response of any decent preamp is essentially flat compared to the room response. |
